Storm Dennis battered the UK  in mid-February 2020. Some regions saw more than a month’s worth of rain in 48 hours. English counties including Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Telford and Wrekin, Worcestershire and Herefordshire have all been affected. Welsh towns and villages such as Pontypridd, Crickhowell, Nantgarw and Pentre have been impacted by flooding. In Scotland, several areas including Newcastleton, Jedburgh, Hawick Dunbarton have seen floods.
